“…There is a better way…”

reinventing project management...through the eyes of the client

With over 47 years of experience, Sandpebble is a project management firm with a uniquely collaborative approach grounded in owner advocacy and total transparency.

This approach has been a key ingredient in the several LEED® platinum and gold certified projects which we have completed to date on behalf of our clients.

Managing projects from initial goal setting, through referendum,(if applicable) design, permitting, bidding, construction, commissioning and move in, we oversee the entire process through the eyes of our clients as their advocates.

The development of this process has been based on our theory that without an advocate, it is difficult, if not impossible, for an owner with limited construction project knowledge to realize optimum value during the planning, design, construction and delivery of a project.

At Sandpebble we feel quite strongly that a project manager’s goals must be aligned with those of its clients. Were this not the case, it would be difficult, at best, for us to remain proactive in finding the best value for them. For this reason, the company’s compensation is never structured as a percentage of a project’s cost.

We firmly believe in the collaborative approach to planning, designing and building a project as an effective way to optimize and integrate the efforts of the owner, stakeholders and all the other team members. This integration becomes a prerequisite on high performance building projects where the traditional linear method has been shown to be ineffective. In addition, this approach has proven to be very successful in eliminating the vast majority of surprises that often appear on a project as well as helping to deliver a project of high quality.

To us, a successful project is one where the planning goals and expectations of all the stakeholders are met in both the short and long term. In other words, in our view, buildings are about the people. Sustainable buildings are those that have the ability to endure, and provide an effective, flexible and efficient venue for people to use long past the time of their creation.
